The Pen simulates the fibroblasts in the skin to tighten and repair the area being treated. The healing process takes around 12 weeks before the skin is fully healed and replenished.

“Fibroblasts create type III collagen; this type of collagen reduces and minimizes wrinkles found in the skin. Unfortunately, most fibroblasts are inactive, fortunately we have the Plasma Pen. The Plasma Pen creates and simulates the fibroblasts in the skin to produce type III collagen to aid the skin to tighten.”

The healing process takes around 12 weeks before the skin is fully healed and replenished. The downtime after the procedure is quick with amazing results in the end. There will be tiny dots on the face that are tiny carbon crusts which represents new epithelial tissue, the crust is natural and will eventually fall off over time. It is important not to pick at it to make sure that the process can work to its full compacity. To help with the urge to itch the carbon crusts, you can apply aloe vera to the skin three times per day, so the skin is not itchy and can heal properly.
