ReWrite Your Skin

With The Plasma Pen

Why Plasma is the new cutting edge thing in skincare.

In the skincare and makeup industry, there is a rise in natural beauty and the best ways to feel comfortable in your natural skin. A great way to do with would be with the Plasma Pen, which uses ingredients already found in the skin to create a natural skin lift to make everyone feel confident in their own skin. “People are now more focused on showing their skin and its beauty rather than concealing it.” With the focus on natural and open skincare, the Plasma Pen is a great way to tackle both at the same time. The science is simple, the Plasma Pen targets and releases fibroblasts into the skin to create type III collagen, which then tightens the skin. The recovery time is short lived and the results can last 3 to 4 years!

Plasma Pen treatments really are like no other laser treatments on the market. Our nitrogen plasma is non-chromophore dependent, which means when it interacts with the skin tissue, it is not reliant on making contact on the parts of the molecules responsible with colour. This ensures that aestheticians can offer non-invasive treatments that do not require a general anaesthetic, as required with more traditional surgeries.

What

A form of non-surgical, non-invasive skincare treatment that preforms fibroblast therapy. It can reduce wrinkles, be helpful with eyelid tightening and also aid in reducing hooded eyelids. Fibroblast skin therapy is a new wave of skincare, the plasma pen generates small blasts of “tiny arcs of plasma made by an electrical discharge via the pen”. Then the area that is being treated, singes the surface and tightens the underlying tissue. While other “energy blast” treatments tend to focus on a larger area of skin, the Plasma Pen can focus in on the smallest areas on the skin making this technique unique.

HOW

How it works.

The Plasma Pen is a new way to get a skin lift and rejuvenate your skin, it is often used to treat wrinkles, skin blemishes, and sagging skin. The Pen simulates the fibroblasts in the skin to tighten and repair the area being treated. The healing process takes around 12 weeks before the skin is fully healed and replenished.

“Fibroblasts create type III collagen; this type of collagen reduces and minimizes wrinkles found in the skin. Unfortunately, most fibroblasts are inactive, fortunately we have the Plasma Pen. The Plasma Pen creates and simulates the fibroblasts in the skin to produce type III collagen to aid the skin to tighten.”

The healing process takes around 12 weeks before the skin is fully healed and replenished. The downtime after the procedure is quick with amazing results in the end. There will be tiny dots on the face that are tiny carbon crusts which represents new epithelial tissue, the crust is natural and will eventually fall off over time. It is important not to pick at it to make sure that the process can work to its full compacity. To help with the urge to itch the carbon crusts, you can apply aloe vera to the skin three times per day, so the skin is not itchy and can heal properly. It is also recommended to not put anything on the skin such as makeup or creams, that can mess with the healing process.
